Labour Pains?

Labour Day we determined to have a final hurrah. It was cold. And windy. And grey. We went canoeing. Makes sense.

We joined another family in our ward and their kid's and grandkid's and headed down to the dock for a quick trip around the point and a picnic lunch. We loaded Grandma and Grandson in one canoe with the fishing gear. Grandpa and 2 granddaughters in another canoe with picnic stuff. Son, Daughter-in-law and 3 girls in another canoe. And finally Tyler and I and our 3 kid's in the last canoe. Off we go. Grandma and Grandson tip within 30 seconds. Off we stop. We didn't even make it out of the dock.

They get pulled out, dried off (sort of) and we fish out fishing gear from the lake. haha. haha.

OK, so...no canoeing today? Sounds good. Let's head back to the house for our picnic dinner and we'll set up the bounce house. Sounds good also.

The kid's enjoyed wearing their life jackets and sitting it the canoe for a few minutes anyway. And Tyler took Max and Logan for a quick trip past the dock and back while we loaded up.
