Hershey Park!

Hershey Park!!

Chocolate World Tour!!  We love those singing cows...

For Uncle Jason - a picture of the world's largest peanut butter cups

And for Great Grandma...Giant Hershey Kisses!

To start our day, the kids had to measure up to see what rides they could go on.   Yay for Logan!  He can go on the rollercoaster!

And Lucy's probably big enough to go on more rides than what she wants!

Balloon ride first.  Fortunately, it was a beautiful day...not too hot and the lines were not long at all.

Carousel!

Our one and only Hershey character encounter...not sure where those other guys were...or where we were when they were out.

The slides are one of our favorites, and we spent a good amount of time there, running up the stairs and down the slides.  About 10 times.

Grandma was a bit overwhelmed, but she was a good sport.

Winners!

While Papa, Tyler and I went on a roller coaster, the kids joined grandma on the ferris wheel...

Papa's a rollercoaster junkie...just a bit.  We stopped and watched this rollercoaster take off for a few minutes.  It was one of those ones that doesn't start with a big climb up a hill to get momentum.  It fires you off the start.  I finally said, "Looks like you better ride that one!"  No one else was game, so it was just Papa and I.  Once we were in line I realized that I had only watched the take-off and had NO idea what the rest of the ride looked like!

The kids were ready for their turn on a rollercoaster after that.  Logan's first time!

We headed to the kids section and loved it.  Logan loved the trucks.  He wanted to ride them 50 times.

And froggy hopper.  Tyler looks like Buddy the Elf on this ride, but he had to accompany Logan.  Logan was totally fine riding, but then the two girls beside him started screaming each time the frog dropped that he figured he needed to as well.

Lucy was determined to go on the Falcon with Grandma.  After they got off she said, Grandma, I don't know WHY I made you do that.  It was terrible!

We hung out at the park until closing, finishing the night with multiple turns on the log ride and getting some popcorn and cotton candy for the drive home the next day.  Awesome day!  We also visited the water park part way through the day, but put the camera away for that part.  We LOVE hershey park!
