Tyler left today for Kingston for 2 weeks. I have in my mind a semi-plan of how to pass the time. Today I had meetings and groceries and cleaning of the house to do, to recover from the birthday weekend, but my big fun plan for today was to go to the park for FHE. On the way there (after dinner) I remembered that I was supposed to meet with a moving company. Bad form mom. So we had to turn around. We decided to play outside on the swingset and slide out here. Not quite the same, but still fun. It worked out because it got cool, but the kids (and I) were still disappointed.
Lucy got leg-warmers for her birthday, and so all day today Max has been wearing his dad's socks so he could have leg-warmers too:
