Today is our first full day at home. We slept in till after 9am. It was beautiful. Thank goodness for our own beds!
The day has been spent sort of unpacking, laundry, and playing with toys. Plus, we went to Walmart so I could get some groceries to feed this family with, and so the kids could look at stuff to spend their gift-cards on. No luck.
Max also got his Star Wars Trouble game that I forgot here at home...nice work mom. Oh well, he was excited about an additional Christmas present. Lucy also exchanged the Belle Barbie she got for a Rapunzle one. Super long hair...super stoked.
Logan has been quite content to be at home and play with his stuff. He LOVES his tractor set he got from Grandma and Papa. When we left to go to the store I said, "Guess where we're going bud?" and he replied, "Grandma and Papa's house?" Nope. I wonder if he understands the airplane horror we just went through to get home, or if it was just a torture chamber that we kept him in all day...the proximity to Grandma's and Papa's isn't real to him. He'll look forward to seeing them in the computer again though.
I can't believe we did more shopping the day after we got home. Crazies. Now we relax.
