Tyler had some meetings in Ottawa this week, so we decided to make a trip of it as a family and join him. We left Thursday after school (and after my root canal...no fun!) Pizza buns and movies in the van and we were off to Upper Canada Village to see the Christmas Light Extravaganza. We had received some coupons for $2 off admission when we went to the PumpkInferno. Can't pass that up.
Because it was a Thursday night it wasn't busy at all, and the weather was pleasant so we didn't get too cold. We had a great time.
We got to ride a train, and have a sleigh ride and sing carols in an old fashioned church. It was a great night. Then it was back into the van to finish the trip to Ottawa and our beautiful hotel, right downtown.
