Last night, I surprised the kids and took them to dinner at Boston Pizza for Lucy's birthday. At some point, they decided that Boston Pizza was their favorite restaurant, so it is a special treat when we get to go. They both ordered the two mini-cheeseburgers and french fries. Max had apple juice, Lucy had chocolate milk. Grandma Janielee and Janeen joined us. It was a fun evening out. I surprised Lucy at the end of the evening by having the servers come and sing happy birthday to her carrying an icecream sundae with a candle in it. She was a little uncomfortable and embarrassed by the attention, but very excited for the sundae.

It was massive. She shared it with her little brother and they couldn't even finish it, so the rest went to Janeen. I was quite shocked, because usually Lucy is an icecream fiend. But I guess after drinking two glasses of chocolate milk, she was full.
She was up at 4am because she was having trouble sleeping. Not surprising.
We came home to a crazy tub and skyped with Dad to read scriptures and say family prayers. The kid's had a fun time talking to him and Logan couldn't help waving the entire time. I think he thought it was quite amazing to see dad inside the computer.
